The extraordinary amalgamation of tradition and elevated engineering makes this supremely elegant Villeret Ultra Slim a fine example of Blancpain’s watchmaking genius.
Why we love it
Timelessness of the silhouette, subtlety of the appeal, and refinement of the details synthesise to make every timepiece from Blancpain Villeret a classic in a contemporary expression. The collection is an elegant homage to the maison’s heritage and birthplace, swarming with watches which are defined by a puristic and simultaneously sophisticated form.
This Villeret Ultra Slim reference 6223-1127-55B is an ultra-slim, understated beauty proudly carrying the irresistible Blancpain aesthetics and aura. It wears quite comfortably on the wrist with 38mm width and only 9.2mm thickness. The round steel case and the complementing black leather strap together render an uncluttered design and lasting quality. The glistening polished surfaces on the case and the signature double-stepped bezel express Blancpain’s quest for excellence, just like the beautifully-formed, slender lugs and knurled crown.
The dial of this Blancpain watch follows a minimalist vein — well-shaped, applied Roman numeral markers set at the periphery of a central panel that neatly carries skeletonised hands, the house signature, and the date window at three o’clock. The crisp white background gives the overall look a balanced feel.
Visible from the skeleton caseback is the automatic calibre 1150 that manifests maison’s mechanical prowess, composed of 188 components and 28 jewels. It provides a staggering 100 hours of power reserve, meaning you can flaunt this baby day in and out without any worries.
This Blancpain Villeret Ultra Slim 6223-1127-55B has minor scratches on the caseback and clasp. Yet, the watch is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
