Bringing you some subtle complications in a classic dress watch silhouette from Blancpain’s most elegant collection – presenting the Villeret Quantième Complet.
Why we love it
Blancpain's Villeret is an elegant timepiece with an ability to transcend tastes and time through its opulent form and subtle complications. Since its introduction, Villeret - named after the village where Blancpain was founded - has emerged as one of the most classic dress watches of all time. And the collection's enduring ability to bring designs that find relevance in the modern watchmaking landscape is manifested beautifully in this Quantiame Complet 6654A-1127-55B.
Rendered in stainless steel, the watch advances a subtle sophistication with its round 40mm case, which is merely 10.9mm thick and features a fine polished finish. The stepped bezel, slender lugs and a signed crown are fashioned with utmost excellence, complementing the taste of connoisseurs in pursuit of refinement. A similar sense of grace is widespread on the white dial, where applied Roman numerals contour the Arabic numeral date scale, read with the help of a curved blue hand. Further, the clean application of day and month apertures at 12 o'clock and a beautiful moonphase complication at six ensures that legibility is not compromised at the hands of functionality.
The sapphire crystal caseback displays the mechanical calibre 6654.4 with a self-winding mechanism. Fine finishing and exquisite engravings on the movement speak of Blancpain's unparalleled craftsmanship. With 72 hours of power reserve and a guilloche gold rotor, smooth functioning of the complete calendar and moonphase is guaranteed.
This Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet is in very good condition with a polished steel case and a sturdy black leather strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
