Why we love it
This Cambiano is an exceptional timepiece born from the partnership of two visionaries who share similar values – Bovet and Pininfarina. A 2011 edition, the watch features a sombre look with grey and black hues that add intrigue and signature Bovet elements that ensure functionality and form coexist seamlessly.
Talking of signature elements, this Cambiano CHPIN001 comes with Bovet’s distinctive Amadeo case rendered in coated stainless steel. The ergonomic design of the case allows you to detach the strap effortlessly and use the watch instead as a pendant, a table clock, or a pocket watch. For that very reason, the case carries a unique bow style with the crown and pushers positioned at the top, also creating a bullhead profile. The 100-metre water-resistant case manifests a notable heft with 45mm diameter and 15.45 mm height. It carries different finishes – a matte look on the bezel, brushed on the sides, and a polished finish on the crown and the pushers.

Bovet’s design virtuosity continues on the dial that features multiple independent-looking parts and skeleton panels, adding an appealing visual depth. The three counters pair with a big date complication at 12, while the luminous hands for hours and minutes are joined by a recognisable serpentine chronograph seconds hand. Even though the dial is further equipped with applied indexes and a tachymeter scale around the outer rim, the legibility of the overall design is intact. In addition to the Bovet signature, a stylised Pininfarina script also finds a prominent place on the dial.

What you should know
This pre-owned Bovet watch – Cambiano Pininfarina CHPIN001 – is in very good condition. The black PVD coating on the case is overall undamaged with minor signs of wear. The black rubber strap is in good condition; however, the pin buckle clasp shows light scratches.
