Your favourite Navitimer with a familiar aerial charm but only a bit more straightforward. We love how this Breitling Navitimer 8 pairs style with utility so effortlessly.
Why we love it
With its simple bidirectional bezel, an uncluttered dial, and Breitling's new calibre B01, this Navitimer 8 is a stark departure from the Navitimers Breitling fans have known and loved. Nevertheless, this refreshing iteration of an icon is equally pleasing and surprisingly straightforward. Characterised by a clean, legible style, this reference AB0117131C1P2 adeptly combines the classic pilot's watch DNA with muted elements, presenting a timepiece that could be easily used and flaunted by a more varied group of wearers. The case, 43mm wide, is executed in stainless steel with smooth lines and bevelled lugs. A screw-down crown ensures the watch is 100m water resistant.
On the dial, a tri-register configuration is seen with a contrasting colourway. Arabic numeral hour and minute markers are preceded by an index chapter ring, all arranged in perfect harmony. The dial is completely luminous and has a date aperture fixed between four and five o'clock. Breitling's self-winding calibre B01 ensures timekeeping is a breeze. In addition, the vertical clutch column wheel mechanism allows for the chronograph function to work seamlessly.
What you should know
This Breitling Navitimer 8 comes in very good condition with no scratches and a fine leather strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
