Subtly classic and distinctly charming - BVLGARI Diagono.
Why we love it
First launched in 1988, the Diagono was Bulgari's inaugural sports watch, designed by the legendary watchmaker Gerald Genta. This particular model continues that tradition with its innovative dual-time display. Encased in a brushed stainless steel case and bezel, the watch features the iconic "Bvlgari Bvlgari" engraving, a signature of the brand's refined aesthetic. The 40mm case houses a circular motif grey dial, accented by silver and blue chapter rings with 24-hour markers. Hour and index markers sit prominently on the dial.
The functionalities of this timepiece are meticulously engineered, requiring all pushers to be unscrewed before activation to prevent accidental adjustments. The pusher at the eight o'clock position sets the date, while the pushers at two and four o'clock allow for seamless adjustment of the hour hand forward and backwards. The crown is used to set both hands and the blue-tipped arrow for the second time zone.
This Diagono Dual Time is powered by an automatic movement, reflecting Bulgari's commitment to precision and reliability. This Bulgari Diagono Dual Time DG40C14SSDGMT is a versatile and elegant choice for discerning watch collectors.
This Bulgari Diagono Dual Time DG40C14SSDGMT has scratches on the crystal, case, and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have nicks too.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
