The BVLAGRI Diagono came out in 1988 as maison’s first sport watch. It depicted a subtle evolution of the iconic BVLGARI BVLGARI line by borrowing the bezel design of signature enegravings. However, even with the shared aesthetical elements, Diagono was decidedly trendier. This stainless steel watch, reference DG42SCCH, cuts a striking appeal with its silver dial, black ceramic bezel with BVLGARI engravings, and a brushed, 42mm case with the crown and pushers. The dial is highly legible with its slim hour indexes and date window between four and five o’clock. Contrasting black counters are used for chronograph functions, their stark colours accentuated against the minimalist silver background.
