A celebration of Ethos’ 20th anniversary with a limited edition Carl F. Bucherer Manero.
Why we love it
The Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback Anniversary watch is a special tribute to the brand's rich heritage, celebrating its 135th anniversary alongside the 20th anniversary of Ethos Watches in India. Limited to just 88 pieces, this exclusive timepiece captures the essence of Swiss craftsmanship with its captivating blue dial and sophisticated design. As a continuation of the iconic Manero Flyback Chronograph introduced in 2016, this watch exemplifies the perfect blend of tradition and innovation, making it a noteworthy addition for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This Manero Flyback Anniversary maintains its classic 43mm stainless steel case, featuring short, curved lugs for enhanced comfort. The design is accentuated by a fluted and signed crown located at the three, complemented by retro-style pushers at two and four o’clock. The vibrant blue dial, enhanced by sunray brushing, is safeguarded by a double-domed sapphire crystal, featuring a tachymeter scale along the edge adorned with bold white numbers. A minute track in white, along with a white chapter ring, further enhances the watch's vintage aesthetic.
This Manero Flyback Anniversary houses the automatic CFB 1970 calibre. This Flyback chronograph mechanism generates a reserve of 42 hours, while the 29 jewels ensure smooth facilitation of the movement. This is the 55th piece of the total 88 timepieces ever produced.
This Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback 00.10919.08.53.99 has light marks on the bezel and case. The caseback and clasp have scuffs as well.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
