Sure to create a dominating and unmistakable look on the wrist, this Patravi ScubaTec is Carl F. Bucherer's fine watchmaking with a conscious undertone.
Why we love it
ScubaTec, hailing from Carl F. Bucherer's well-known collection - Patravi, is a stunning diver's watch with a handsome design and staggering water resistance capabilities. It perfectly emulates Patravi's innovative and functional disposition.
Like most Carl F. Bucherer watches, style and functionality go hand in hand on this ScubaTec, which has an aesthetically-pleasing unidirectional diver's bezel rendered in 18k rose gold, whopping 500m water resistance, a well-finished 44.6mm stainless steel case, and an automatic helium valve. On the blue dial, things get a little creative. The texture here mimics the scales of a fish. Together with the luminous markers and hands and a small date window at three o'clock, the dial creates a vision to behold.
Carl F. Bucherer's commitment to a clean ocean and protection of threatened manta rays is manifested through the beautiful engravings of these creatures on the caseback, inside which resides a self-winding CFB calibre 1950.1. COSC-certified, this movement is composed of 25 jewels and promises a 38-hour power reserve.
Except for some minor scuffs on the clasp, this Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec 00.10632.24.53.01 shows a fair pre-owned condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
