It's the familiar details coalesced with unique aesthetics that make this Calibre de Cartier a must-have!
Why we love it
This Calibre de Cartier inherits familiar Cartier design cues yet brings a remarkably distinctive aesthetic that enthuses many. With a diameter of 42mm, this W7100041 confidently creates a bold presence on the wrist. The case, equipped with a polished bezel that leads to chamfered edges and lugs, is beaming with textural charm. It sets the stage right for the equally characterful dial. The recognisable cabochon-tipped multi-sided crown comes flanked by crown guards. Also, the black leather strap that holds the watch in place complements the whole look effortlessly.
The dial has an undeniable Cartier feel to it, taking one's eyes to the Roman numerals, the external railroad minute track, and the sword hands filled with luminous material. A running seconds sub-dial sits at six o'clock, while the date window is positioned at three. Overall, it would make for a well-balanced dial, owing to the clean execution and legibility. It is powered by a reliable automatic movement.
What you should know
Please note there are minor scratches on the case and case back of this Calibre de Cartier W7100041. The leather strap is slightly soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
