Crafted from lustrous 18k gold into a delicate form with a beautiful bracelet, this elegant Panthere watch by Cartier offers the perfect touch of sartorial decadence.
Why we love it
Panther, in all its glory and splendour, inspires Cartier's Panthere collection. Introduced in 1983, this iconic line is teeming with striking designs that are charming in every sense. The confident style of the collection is perfectly expressed in this timepiece - an effortlessly feminine watch that celebrates the singularity and beauty of women.
This Cartier Panthere W25022B9 is meticulously engineered to put a brilliant design and maison's expert craftsmanship under the spotlight. Clean lines, ideal proportions, and beautiful construction define this timepiece. It comes in precious 18k yellow gold and features a delicate form with a modest 22mm case. The elevated bezel surrounding the white dial is punctuated for a characterful look. The dial, on the other hand, accents a recognisable, minimalist profile with Roman numeral hour markers playing perimeter to a slender chapter ring. The centre of the dial is populated by the brand signature and contrasting blue hands.
Cartier insists that the stealthy movements of a panther influence the dainty design and flexible construction of the bracelet, and we couldn't agree more. The gold bracelet with multiple links sits gracefully on the wrist; no wonder this timepiece is popular as a jewellery watch. The quartz movement that beats inside the solid, engraved case back is highly reliable and accurate. This Cartier Panthere styles well with muted ensembles to create a bold, elegant contrast.
This Cartier Panthere W25022B9 comes with a hairline scratch on the sapphire crystal glass. Please note there are noticeable marks on the caseback, bracelet, and clasp as well.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
