Celebrate the watch that put Cartier at the forefront of design-based innovations in the world of horology.
Why we love it
Cartier’s rich history of watchmaking and aviation-driven design, gave rise to the iconic Cartier’s Santos and the Santos collection thereafter. This Santos 100 was first launched in 2004, to honour the 100th year of the original Santos.
This Santos is filled to the brim with classic Cartier sensibilities. It features a classic stainless steel square case with a dial showcasing the brand's iconic Roman numeral hour markers, sword-shaped hands, and a subtle Cartier logo integrated into the seventh-hour marker. The case is protected by a sapphire crystal and features an 18k rose gold bezel with signature exposed screws on top. The watch is held together by a textured brown leather strap.
The self-winding ETA 2670 calibre generates a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Additionally, this watch is water-resistant up to 100m.
This Cartier Santos W20107X7 shows signs of use with minor scratches on the bezel, case, caseback, and buckle. The leather strap is in decent condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
