Celebrate the watch that put Cartier at the forefront of design-based innovations in the world of horology.
Why we love it
Cartier's rich history of watchmaking and aviation-driven design gave rise to the iconic Cartier's Santos and the Santos collection thereafter. Santos 100 was first launched in 2004, to honour the 100th year of the original Santos.
This iconic timepiece features an eye-catching titanium bezel adorned with eight signature screws, adding a touch of sophistication to its design. The classic Roman numeral markers on the black dial are perfectly complemented by the sword-shaped luminous hands, ensuring optimal readability even in low-light conditions. Housed in a brushed stainless steel case measuring 38mm, this Santos 100 boasts a sleek and understated aesthetic. Its protected octagonal crown adds a distinctive touch to the watch.
The in-house self-winding calibre 049 generates a decent power reserve of 42 hours. Additionally, this watch is water-resistant up to 30m. Whether for everyday wear or special occasions, Cartier Santos 100 symbolises style and sophistication that will stand the test of time.
Despite the minor scratches and a dent on the case, this Cartier Santos W2020010 is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
