With the playful dance of the diamonds, the elegance-imparting construction, and an iconic design, this Chopard Happy Sport is the epitome of confidence, luxury, and style.
Why we love it
With its extraordinary design and charming appeal, Chopard’s Happy Sport is for women who love, laugh and hope fearlessly. Armed with originality and powerful aesthetics, Happy Sport beautifully celebrates the art of watchmaking and bold femininity.
The history of the Happy Sport watch goes even before 1993 when the house of Chopard officially introduced it. Its origin can be traced back to Caroline Scheufele’s teenage years when she drew an innocent sketch of a clown with moving diamonds in its tummy. The design that garnered immediate appreciation from her father later became a mascot of the Maison. In 1985, when Caroline was appointed the Vice President of the house, she introduced the Happy Clown pendant, which was an instant hit. It was just the beginning of something even more magnificent that came along with the introduction of the Happy Sport watch, the first-ever timepiece to bring the bold combination of steel and diamonds.
The design of this Chopard Happy Sport 278475-3018 is characterised by luxury and glamour. Encased in a polished stainless steel case of 36 mm diameter, the watch retains its signature aesthetic and charisma with three freely dancing diamonds housed between the sapphire crystal and the white dial and more on the fixed bezel, adding a visual depth to the watch. The dial also bears a mix of Roman numeral and index markers in addition to a date window placed between 4 and 5 o’clock positions. A reliable analog quartz movement powers this Happy Sport 278475-3018.
Offering the best of sport and chic, Happy Sport remains an indisputable hero of the contemporary, horological landscape.
This Chopard Happy Sport 278475-3018 is in very good pre-owned condition with no scratches on the case. It is paired with a rubber strap that is a bit soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
