This Happy Sport exudes feminine grace and playfulness, making it a delicate yet eye-catching timepiece for women who dare to dream big.
Why we love it
The history of the Happy Sport watch goes even before 1993 when the house of Chopard officially introduced it. Its origin can be traced back to Caroline Scheufele’s teenage years when she drew an innocent sketch of a clown with moving diamonds in its tummy. The design that garnered immediate appreciation from her father later became a mascot of the Maison. In 1985, when Caroline was appointed the Vice President of the house, she introduced the Happy Clown pendant, which was an instant hit. It was just the beginning of something even more magnificent that came along with the introduction of the Happy Sport watch, the first-ever timepiece to bring the bold combination of steel and diamonds.
This Chopard Happy Sport 278590-3002 is adorned with three floating diamonds that elegantly dance above the icy white dial. The contrast of the Roman numerals and index markers against the pristine background adds a touch of sophistication. A minute track encircles the rim of the dial, enhancing its functionality while maintaining its elegant aesthetic. Forged in Lucent steel, this 30mm round case offers a harmonious blend of classic design and contemporary flair. Powered by a quartz movement, this watch need not be winded. It is designed for women who embrace their free-spirited nature, dare to be different, and express their individuality through their style choices.

Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
