This Corum Admiral will garner curious looks again and again. Its dodecagon case and the nautical pennants make it truly recognisable.
Why we love it
This Admiral by Corum is a luxury sports watch that approaches watchmaking with a bold, contemporary, and dynamic sensibility. Using lightweight titanium, this limited edition Admiral's Cup Competition reference 947.931.94/0371 AA52 takes a signature dodecagon shape. It features a complementing bezel mounted on a 47mm case. Smaller lugs and the guards flanking the screw-down crown create a familiar appearance. But it's the dial that makes this Admiral instantly recognisable. Armed with the nautical pennants as the markers, the white dial plays host to a date window at three and a seconds subdial at nine. The Arabic numeral minute markers and luminous hands on the dial help achieve absolute legibility.
The characteristic nautical pennant motif also finds a place on the rubber strap. The meticulous wave design on the inner side and the considerably large pin buckle fastening are the highlights of the strap in black. ETA 7750, sans the chronograph elements, acts as the base for the chronometer-certified Corum calibre CO 947 that powers this reference. It provides a power reserve of 42 hours.
What you should know
This pre-owned Corum Admiral shows minor scratches on the case and caseback. But overall, it is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
