Taking the skeletonised case to unprecedented heights, this Corum Golden Bridge is a mechanical marvel, surpassing all expectations.
Why we love it
One of the most captivating creations by Corum, the tonneau-shaped timepiece redefines elegance and innovation. With its crown positioned at the bottom, this manual-winding watch exudes eccentricity in every detail. Encased in exquisite rose gold, the case and bezel gleam with timeless allure, perfectly complemented by a rich brown leather strap secured with a classic pin buckle. Despite its simplicity in displaying time, featuring only essential hour and minute hands without indexes, this watch is a testament to understated sophistication.
At 34mm, this masterpiece boasts a transparent body that offers a mesmerising glimpse into the intricate details of the mechanism within. Powered by the remarkable calibre CO 113, it generates a decent 40-hour power reserve. Additionally, a total switch of power transitioning seamlessly from the spring barrel at six o'clock to the escapement at 12 o'clock can be seen inside this case. The ingenious design accentuates the technical prowess and aesthetic appeal of this exceptional timepiece.
What you should know
Despite the scratches on the buckle, this Corum Bridge 113.160.55/0002 0000 is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
