How long will it take before I receive payment for my watch?
After you are happy with our offer and the necessary paperwork has been completed, we start processing the payment. Cheque payment will take at least two weeks, while it will take a minimum of three days for a credit note payment. Credit notes may be redeemed by you at any Ethos boutique, for any brand, for any product of the same or greater value than that of the voucher amount.
How will I get paid?
You are welcome to choose a payment method that suits you best. You can either opt to receive your payment via cheque or in the form of a credit note.

Absolutely! Staff at the store, where you deposit your watch, will issue the required documentation to show acknowledgement of the receipt

The inspection of a watch takes about two to three business days.

Why is my ID required for payment to be processed?

Why wasn’t my watch accepted?
There are a number of reasons why a watch we receive for evaluation might not be accepted into our catalogue of pre-owned watches for sale. Hence, you can rest assured that any product you purchase from Second Movement is 100% genuine.
If the watch I am selling is worth more than the watch I intend to trade it in for, how will I be paid?
In case the value of the watch that you are selling to Second Movement is determined to be greater than the value of the watch you intend to trade it in for, you will certainly be paid the difference, via a cheque.
