Characterful yet sophisticated, Franck Muller champions elegant watchmaking with this Long Island.
Why we love it
Many say that Long Island speaks to Franck Mullers's artistic and dynamic side. In contrast to the other timepieces from the house, it embraces understated sophistication and an elegant irreverence with its symmetrical rectangular shape and characterful dial.
Its 18k rose gold case keeps things as refined and pure as possible. The black dial is kitted with flaring Arabic numerals indicated by well-shaped hands. The inner minute chapter ring houses all the signature script in its heart. Also, with the absence of a date window, the dial is all about the markers and rightly so. These markers, which occupy the major real estate on the dial, are actually the hero element of the whole timepiece, making it instantly recognisable as a Franck Muller.
The inside of the watch is driven by an automatic movement and a robust black leather strap holds it comfortably in place.
Please note this Franck Muller Long Island bears a noticeable scratch on the sapphire crystal glass with a few nicks on the case, caseback, and buckle. It is paired with a non-branded leather strap that shows good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
