This Vanguard - an exceptional Franck Muller topped with a bold, attention-grabbing all-black colourway - looks ready for any adventure.
Why we love it
By no means discreet or subtle, this Franck Muller Vanguard is attention-grabbing with its recognisable tonneau case, an interesting dial, and the stealthy black colourway. It's a Franck Muller through and through with pleasing nautical nods, considering the watch is primed for seafaring adventures. It's a popular timepiece from the maison's repertoire that offers the wearer high watchmaking and endless versatility. Yes, although the watch on no account is sleek or would settle under a sleeve's cuff but is statement enough to complement black-tie or blazer looks.
The dial of this Vanguard reference V 41 SC DT NR BR (TT) brings out Franck Muller's expert craftsmanship through flaring Arabic numeral hour markers, which also set the tone of the watch as bold and dominating. A petite round date window sits atop the six o'clock marker and a scale on the flange depicts lines of longitude and latitude.
Housed inside the 41mm PVD-coated titanium case is an automatic movement. Overall, this elegant and handsome Franck Muller watch feels comfortable, relevant, and timeless on the wrist.
Please note this Franck Muller Vanguard V 41 SC DT NR BR (TT) shows light scuffs on the sapphire crystal glass. Additionally, it carries nicks on the case, caseback, and clasp. However, the leather and rubber strap shows a robust form.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
