This Girard-Perregaux, elevated by a balanced design and the beauty of diamonds, puts fine watchmaking and unfettered charm on display in equal measures.
Why we love it
An elegant shape and use of diamonds refine the pursuit of feminine style, while the skeleton dial featuring the reliable GP calibre GP030C0 guides the presence of an elevated mechanism, resulting in a thoughtful composition that emanates from this impressive Girard-Perregaux watch for women.
This reference 80440D-11AB 11 measures 32mm, which is quite ideal for multiple wrist sizes. It is finished with a polished surface throughout the stainless steel case. The knurled crown is fitted with a black gemstone and is flanked by chronograph pushers. The slim bezel, decked with 48 VVS quality diamonds, gives way to the skeletonised dial.
Spread across the dial are quarterly-placed stylised Arabic numerals to indicate time combined with centrally mounted luminous hands. At three and nine o’clock, there’re chronograph sub-counters featuring 30-minute and running seconds respectively. A complementing minute scale sits at the periphery of the dial.
Inside this Girard-Perregaux reference 80440D-11AB 11, we find calibre GP030C0, an automatic chronograph movement. It beats at a frequency of 28,800bph and has a running autonomy of 36 hours. Further, the movement is adorned with delicate decorations that can be admired through the front and back of the case.
This Girard-Perregaux watch is in overall good condition with just a few minor scratches on the case. The leather strap boasts a firm shape.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
