An elegant sensibility is strengthened through a beguiling blue dial adorned with a Clous de Paris pattern on this charming Girard-Perregaux Laureato.
Why we love it
Laureato is a solid option when looking for a luxury sports watch. It nods to Girard-Perregaux's rich legacy and unparalleled craftsmanship through its immaculately crafted elegant form. It exudes a relaxed sense of versatility, looking as dapper under a sleeve's cuff as with a biker jacket.
At a glance, this Girard-Perregaux Laureato reference 81010-11-431-11A is a modish 42mm stainless steel timepiece, considerably slim with only 10.68mm in thickness. The case is an exercise in elegant style, featuring smooth lines, an octagonal bezel, a logo-signed knurled crown, and a particularly appealing brushed finish.
The dial of this Laureato brings a beguiling Clous de Paris pattern and a stunning shade of blue. It is elevated by silver-tone luminous hour indices and the brand logo at noon. The sophisticated charm of the overall design is also conspicuous on the dial via the subtle date aperture at three o'clock. A pair of luminous hands sweep steadily for up to approximately 54 hours after the automatic calibre GP01800 is fully wound.
Purchased in 2023, this Girard-Perregaux Laureato 81010-11-431-11A comes with minor scuffs on the case, bezel, and caseback. A few light nicks are also visible on the bracelet and clasp.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
