A special occasion calls for a special timepiece! With its beautifully hand-engraved caseback that also lets you peek at the movement, this Graham Chronofighter 1695 is for discerning collectors.
Why we love it
Graham pays tribute to its namesake with Chronofighter 1695, a beautiful timepiece defined by mesmerising aesthetics and elevated functionality. Crafted in lush rose gold, it carries a domed solid caseback hand-engraved with the Greenwich Royal Observatory, where the legendary George Graham was the official watchmaker. In addition, a small exhibition aperture is added to the back featuring the balance wheel and the rotor of the automatic calibre G1745. This calibre is assembled with 25 jewels and provides a power reserve of 48 hours.
This reference 2CXAP.S03B is presented in a bold round case. The crown that comes integrated with start and stop chronograph pushers is located at nine o’clock, shielded by a trigger that facilitates quick usage. Further, the substantial 42mm case is fitted with a reset button at 10 o’clock and an understated silver dial. A clean, legible design, the dial features a mix of Arabic numerals and indexes in addition to the syringe-like hour and minute hands. The date window at three and the 30-minute sub-dial at six elevate functionality. This Graham watch is 50m water resistant.
The 2CXAP.S03B is worn on the wrist with a crocodile leather strap in a brown hue that complements the classic gold and silver shades on the watch and is fitted with a rose gold pin buckle fastener.
This Graham watch is in excellent condition with a well-maintained case. Even though the strap shows signs of use, it overall boasts a good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
