Your favourite Graham in a bigger and better avatar! The Chronofighter Oversize fetches instant admiration courtesy of its singular style and substantial wrist presence. But wait, there’s more.
Why we love it
Measuring 47mm wide, this Chronofighter Oversize is quintessentially Graham, with signature elements positioned carefully throughout. The case is rendered in stainless steel with a polished finish throughout and a shiny black ceramic bezel.
The most distinctive and recognisable feature of this Graham watch is the trigger system on the left, stationed over the crown. It is employed to make the chronograph function ergonomic. While the reset pusher is set above the trigger, the start and stop pusher is integrated into the crown and is operated via the trigger. Interestingly, positioning of the crown and the pushers on the left is a practical choice as opposed to an aesthetical one as it elevates wearability on the wrist.
The telemeter scale outlines the dial, followed by luminous Arabic numerals. Graham has dropped the third sub-register, placing the 60-second and 30-minute sub-counters at three and six o’clock positions. A small date window called dibs between eight and nine o’clock. It is powered by an automatic calibre G1747, guaranteeing a power reserve of 48 hours. From the dial’s legibility to the refinement of the construction, every detail of this Chronofighter Oversize speaks of Graham’s excellent watchmaking prowess.
Please note this Graham Chronofighter Oversize 2CCAU.B24A.K92N bears noticeable scratches on the bezel, case, and buckle. Its black rubber strap is sturdy and boasts good shape.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
