This Prodive doesn't just cash in on the iconic trigger system of the Chronofighter but is rife with refreshing details that deliver singularity in abundance.
Why we love it
It won't be wrong to say that any watch connoisseur would recognise Graham's linchpin Chronofighter from a distance. The protruding chronograph trigger has maintained the collection's singularity since the beginning - a unique design element that has forever played the lodestone in a highly functional timepiece. Thai Chronofighter Prodive is a faithful extension of this iconic watch and is worthy of the love it garners.
It is armed with a powerful design featuring a substantial 45mm DLC-coated steel case and a dial that is as fine-looking as it is functional. These elements come together to give the watch a bold presence on the wrist. The trigger on the left is a mono-pusher and is flanked on the top by a knurled crown. Dive details on the watch are equally strong through a highly luminous dial and unidirectional bezel, a helium escape valve, and a whopping 600 metres of water resistance capabilities.
Inside the watch is the automatic calibre G1750 that operates at 28,800bph with 48 hours of power reserve and facilitates the easy functioning of chronograph and date complications. Finally, this Graham abounds with bells and whistles that add up to make this watch as stunning as it is. Case in point - the propeller-like seconds sub-dial, the tinge of orange on the monochrome dial, the sloping lugs, the engraved caseback, and the ergonomic rubber strap.
Purchased in 2023, this Graham Chronofighter Prodive 2CDAB.B02A.K80F is in fair pre-owned condition and bears only a few minor nicks on the caseback. Its rubber strap is well-maintained and robust.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
