Graham tastefully brings vintage nose art to life on a watch, achieving a remarkable feat.
Why we love it
Graham's aviation-inspired watches exude vintage charm with their pin-up girl designs, reminiscent of the decorative art on World War II aeroplanes. In 2018, Graham transitioned from making bold watches to even 'bolder' ones with the Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art timepieces.
The Nose Art collection features pin-up girls named Belle, Lucia, Linda, and Chloe. They captivate attention with their alluring appearance, unique dance poses, flowing skirts, and quirky musical accessories. On the dial of this Chronofighter Vintage, Belle is seen choosing the right record to play while flaunting a sensual appeal.
Despite the whimsical and fun demeanour, it remains a true Graham watch at its core - big, bold, and unique. A 44mm case crafted in stainless steel with the classic crown and pusher on the left screams Graham. While Belle sits at three with the small seconds counter, a big date aperture sits directly opposite her at nine. The six o'clock position displays a 30-minute counter. The lume-filled hands and indexes add legibility to the dial.
Don't let the pretty faces distract you from the robust mechanism housed within. The G1747 automatic chronograph calibre generates a 48-hour reserve and vibrates at a frequency of 28,800bph. Additionally, this piece of art is produced in limited quantity, like other Graham watches - this one is limited to 100.
This Graham Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art Ltd - Belle 2CVAS.A01A.L132S is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
