The most impressive and tasteful timepiece to complete any statement look - this Graham Chonofighter Vintage Aircraft is as high-octane as it is reliable.
Why we love it
Vintage timepieces are a genre that enjoys perpetual admiration and love from discerning enthusiasts and collectors. And few are more dynamic and charming than this Graham Chronofighter Vintage Aircraft. In 2018, Graham introduced an impressive vintage version of the iconic Chronofighter with four distinctive models, each limited to 250 pieces. This reference 2CVAV.U03A.BRAT37B comes with a 44mm round case rendered in aged steel treated with a black PVD finish, creating a sleek gunmetal look. It carries the signature onion-shaped crown bolstered by a lever to start and stop the chronograph. Sitting beside the crown is a pump-style reset pusher.
On the dial, the watch confidently plays with texture, colour, and valuable functionality. It is tastefully riveted, echoing the look of old aircraft from the 40s. Coherently put together, its sub-dials, luminous markers, and syringe-like hands reiterate a vintage appeal. A date and day complication placed unconventionally at nine o'clock completes the vertical configuration of the dial.
The automatic calibre G1747 powering this Graham watch is a modified ETA Valjoux 7750. It has a beat rate of 28,800vph and a 42-hour power reserve.
This limited-edition Graham Chronofighter Vintage Aircraft is in excellent pre-owned condition with no scratches and a sturdy leather and denim strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
