This Graham Swordfish is a flamboyant timepiece for the discerning watch enthusiasts.
Why we love it
Hailing from the 2019 edition, this Graham Swordfish is a bold chronograph bound to attract attention. This watch boasts an audacious design with arresting visuals. The unmissable googly eyes on the case and the sheer size of it deserve a double take.
This gigantic 46mm timepiece, with a bronze body, showcases an enigmatic green dial. The dial bears index markers and hands—reminiscent of a swordfish silhouette—in white Super-LumiNova to enhance nocturnal readability. The scene stealers are, of course, the two magnifying eyes over the 12-hour and 30-minute counters at nine and three o'clock, respectively. Giving this watch its striking and vintage form are the bronze crown and pushers on the right, accompanied by an ergonomically designed grey mesh rubber strap.
Visible through the exhibition caseback, the automatic calibre G1710 that powers this Graham Swordfish. It vibrates at a rate of 28,800vph and ensures a running autonomy of 48 hours.
This Graham Swordfish is in very good condition despite the minor nicks on the caseback.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
