Bring forth the essense of spring on your wrist with this Grand Seiko.
Why we love it
Launched in 2021, the 24 Seasons collection comprises four distinct models representing the seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. In Japan, where the cycle of seasons is revered, each season is experienced through six phases, each with its own unique character. These subtle transitions between seasons bring the essence of time closer to our senses. Embracing the essence of one of the 24 seasonal phases, this GMT watch pays homage to the arrival of spring with its verdant green dial and rose gold accents.
Known as Shunbun in Japanese, spring exudes a dreamy elegance, perfectly captured in this timepiece. It is also complemented by a practical GMT function. The rose gold GMT hand, finished with the same brushed texture, harmoniously ties together the watch's design elements. Each hour marker is meticulously crafted with nine surfaces, featuring straight-grained faces and mirror-polished sides. Above the hour markers, the GMT hand's 24-hour scale is adorned with steep-sided triangles, adding to the watch's visual allure.
Among the 24 Seasons models, this one is run on an automatic with manual winding calibre 9S86 generating a reserve of 55 hours.
Please note that this Grand Seiko Elegance 24 Seasons Automatic Hi-Beat 36000 Shunbun SBGJ251G has minor nicks on the caseback, bracelet, and clasp. Yet, the watch is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
