The Grand Seiko Snowflake is an exquisite timepiece that seamlessly blends artistry and advanced technology, embodying the serene beauty of a winter landscape.
Why we love it
The Grand Seiko Snowflake SBGA211G is a masterpiece that perfectly encapsulates the brand's commitment to precision and artistry. This timepiece is distinguished by its 41mm titanium case, renowned for its lightweight yet durable properties. The case, treated with Grand Seiko's Zaratsu polishing technique, exhibits a mirror-like finish that enhances its refined elegance.
The Snowflake's dial is its most captivating feature, inspired by the pristine snow in the Nagano region of Japan. The textured dial mimics freshly fallen snow, creating a delicate, shimmering effect that varies with the light. The hour and minute hands, along with the markers, are meticulously hand-polished, ensuring superior legibility and a luxurious appearance. A power reserve indicator is located on the dial between seven and eight o'clock. The watch also includes a date display at the three o'clock position, adding practical functionality without detracting from the dial's beauty.
Underneath the hood, the Grand Seiko Snowflake houses the revolutionary Spring Drive Calibre 9R65. This movement is a fusion of mechanical and quartz technologies, offering the precision of quartz (±1 second per day) and the craftsmanship of a mechanical movement. One of the unique features of the Spring Drive is the smooth, gliding motion of the seconds hand, which moves without the traditional ticking, reflecting the seamless passage of time. The movement also boasts an impressive 72-hour power reserve. Both the front and back of the watch are fitted with high-quality sapphire crystal, with the caseback offering a view of the beautifully finished movement.
This Grand Seiko Heritage Snowflake SBGA211G promises excellent pre-owned condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
