A perfect fusion of precision and elegance, this Grand Seiko Heritage combines high-performance craftsmanship with a design inspired by Japan's natural beauty.
Why we love it
The Grand Seiko Heritage SBGJ203G brings together technical precision and refined design with its calibre 9S86 movement. This high-performance calibre not only maintains a remarkable accuracy of -5 to +3 seconds per day and a power reserve of 55 hours, but also integrates a GMT function, ideal for frequent travellers. The GMT hand allows the wearer to track a second-time zone while ensuring that the watch's overall timekeeping remains unaffected when adjusting to local time.
The watch’s design takes inspiration from the iconic 'Grand Seiko Style,' originally introduced with the 44GS in 1967. It features a distortion-free, wide mirror finish that gives the case an elegant, modern look. The dial is particularly striking, showcasing the 'Mount Iwate pattern,' which evokes the ridged peaks of the Iwate mountain, visible from Grand Seiko’s Shizuku-Ishi Watch Studio. This subtle yet captivating detail enhances the overall aesthetic of the timepiece, embodying the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship and natural beauty.
What you should know
This Grand Seiko Heritage SBGJ203G has minor nicks on the case and caseback. The bracelet and clasp have scuffs too.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
