Streamliner Centre Seconds Echoes the Fluid Motion of Early High-Speed Trains, Merging Classic Style with Contemporary Precision.
Why we love it
The Streamliner Centre Seconds, introduced as the second model in the Streamliner collection, draws inspiration from the sleek, aerodynamic forms of the early 20th-century Streamliner trains. This design ethos is reflected in the watch’s 40mm stainless steel cushion case, which harmoniously blends with a fully integrated steel bracelet. The case’s flowing curves and fluid lines are complemented by alternating brushed and polished surfaces, showcasing Moser’s traditional approach to case design. Meanwhile, the bracelet of the watch is characterised by its organic forms and articulated links, enhancing both comfort and visual appeal.
This watch’s Matrix Green fumé dial is a striking feature, presenting a gradient that transitions from deep olive to red gold. This vibrant color enhances the watch’s modern appeal while maintaining a sense of classic sophistication. The dial is minimalist, focusing solely on the essential functions of hours, minutes, and central seconds. At the core of the Streamliner Centre Seconds is the HMC 200 calibre, a self-winding movement meticulously designed and manufactured in-house by H. Moser & Cie. This calibre is known for its precision and reliability, featuring a solid gold oscillating weight and a power reserve of up to three days.

Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
