Permeated by an air of nonchalance despite the hefty design, Harry Winston’s Ocean Sport is an amalgamation of refined and robust, high-end and sporty, everyday and statement. A far cry from the glamorous models of the Ocean line, Ocean Sport was released in 2012 with two major iterations – an automatic model and a chronograph. Different in functionality, both versions shared similarities of design and aesthetic, majorly in construction. Ocean Sport watches were executed in Harry Winston’s Zalium material with rubber straps.

This Ref. OCSAHD/44ZZ002 is an Ocean Sport automatic watch. It is crafted in satin-finished Zalium – a zirconium-based alloy unique to this luxury brand. The bezel is notched with black inserts, creating a layered look. It is also rotating and is accompanied by a knurled crown on the side. The dial of this Ref. OCSAHD/44ZZ002 is design-heavy with traditional Arabic numeral hour markers, three hands, and a date window at 3 o’clock. A textured panel runs on the dial from 4 to 10 o’clock, subtly joined by a crescent-shaped tab featuring a ‘ZALIUM’ script. Further, the brand name and logo are given a place of prominence at 12 o’clock.
