Experience the legacy of a legend with the limited edition Hublot King Power Maradona watch.
Why we love it
Hublot unveiled the King Power Maradona Edition in Shanghai in 2012, during a charity event where the legendary Diego Maradona himself kicked a soccer ball to raise funds for children. This was the second limited edition watch created by Hublot in honour of Maradona, who also served as a brand ambassador for the luxury watchmaker.
Limited to just 200 pieces, the 48mm watch features a circular satin-finished 18K King Gold case accentuated by six H-shaped relief black PVD titanium screws and a black composite resin with a push-piece guard at the three o’clock position. The bezel is crafted from 18K King Gold with a black rubber insert, while the caseback is made of micro-blasted black ceramic adorned with a Maradona logo transfer. The dial also showcases satin-finished gold-plated hands with white SuperLuminova™, Diego’s signature, his iconic number 10, and the blue and white accents pay homage to his Argentinian heritage. The back of the watch features an image of Maradona’s famous victory pose.
Powering this timepiece is the HUB4245 skeleton chronograph movement, which includes a central 45-minute counter. This mechanical self-winding movement is equipped with an oscillating weight featuring a tungsten carbide heavy metal segment. The movement consists of 249 components and 28 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
This Hublot Big Bang King Power Maradona 716.OM.1129.RX.DMA12 has minor scratches on the case, caseback, and clasp. The rubber strap is in satisfactory form.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
