The elegant Classic Fusion takes a bold skeletonised form with this Aerofusion Black Magic that exposes the reliable calibre HUB1155 in all its beauty and charm.
Why we love it
This Hublot Aerofusion 525.CM.0170.RX is full of subtle detailing and impressive watchmaking elements that reiterate the house's virtuosity and engineering capabilities. It strips away the dial to disclose the HUB1155 calibre inside, equipped with 42 hours of power reserve. The self-winding movement has been dressed up with vertical brushing and rhodium-plated elements. The semi-skeletonised rotor visible through the sapphire crystal caseback carries a cut-out Hublot in black, looking particularly handsome. Also, signature Cotes de Geneve and perlage pattern are present for admiration.
On the dial side, index hour markers appear suspended over the movement, coated in similar rhodium plating. The exposed date ring is another element to write home about, where all the numbers are explicitly visible. It can be read at the six o'clock window. The openwork approach also characterises the chronograph sub-dials at three and nine o'clock.
Most importantly, this Aerofusion is undeniably Hublot. The signature charm of a Hublot timepiece is not lost amidst the awe created by the skeletonised dial and the exposed movement. The strong ceramic construction of the 45mm case and the recognisable screws on the bezel hammer home the singular appeal of the brand.
This Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Black Magic 525.CM.0170.RX shows a fair pre-owned condition with no noticeable scratches and a firm rubber strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
