This IWC Ingenieur speaks of confidence and precision with its modern, sporty look and elevated mechanism.
Why we love it
An interesting take on the Ingenieur, this reference IW376501 is a well-crafted timepiece that leans heavily on the sporty side of things with its substantial 45.5mm case and integrated rubber bracelet. It delivers strength and style with an unmistakable wrist presence and strong case construction in titanium. Ingenieur's signature screws make an appearance on the bezel, their blackened look complementing the dial.
The dial brings a bevvy of complications most legibly. The chronograph counters are positioned vertically for the neat placement of the day and date windows at three. The touches of blue on the dial give the watch extra visual interest, as does the intricate design on the inside of the rubber strap.
This IWC Ingenieur is driven by the calibre 79230, which fosters a precise rattrapante chronograph mechanism with a column wheel. It is based on Valjoux 7750, beating at 21,600bph and promising a power reserve of 44 hours.
Please note this IWC Ingenieur Chronograph IW376501 bears noticeable nicks on the sapphire crystal glass, case, and caseback. Its rubber strap is in good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
