Celebrating the legacy of the Mercedes Silver Arrow W 25, this IWC Ingenieur Chronograph, features a stunning engraving of the iconic racing car on the caseback.
Why we love it
This IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Silver Arrow features a striking brown dial with a textured circular-grained pattern that adds depth. Encased in polished steel 45mm body, the sub-dials contrast with silver surfaces and intricate concentric textures. Polished stainless steel index hour markers, filled with luminescent material, enhance visibility. A white printed minute and seconds track on a raised brown flange improves functionality, while a date window at the sixth marker and a small running seconds hand within the sub-dial provide additional utility.
This remarkable timepiece boasts an advanced chronograph function with a cutting-edge flyback feature. The large red central seconds counter draws the eye, while the chronograph sub-dial at 12 o'clock conveniently serves dual purposes: tracking both 60-minute intervals and 12-hour counts.
Limited to just 1000 pieces, this IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Silver Arrow is powered by the IWC calibre 89361, operating at an impressive 28,800 vibrations per hour and featuring 38 jewels, all while boasting an approximate power reserve of 68 hours.
This IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Silver Arrow IW378511 has a minor dent on the bezel and slight nicks on the buckle. Other than that, it is in very good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
