This Pilot's Watch Special Edition represents IWC's continuous efforts to support Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, which is committed to helping disadvantaged children and adolescents.
Why we love it
For many, a good watch represents good times, and nowhere is it more true than in the case of IWC Pilot's Watch Automatic Laureus Sport for Good. Since 2005, IWC has been honouring and supporting the organisation by releasing special edition watches, part of which proceeds are donated to the foundation. Laureus Sport for Good is an establishment that works for disadvantaged children and adolescents using sport as a channel of change. For the 15th edition released in 2021, IWC picked its popular Pilot's Watch with a 41mm blue ceramic case. It is finely designed with thin lugs and elegant curves. The watch is worn on a matching blue strap secured by a buckle.
This special edition timepiece carries the characteristic Pilot's watch look with a blue dial, representing the colour of Laureus. It is equipped with notable, luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and luminous hands. The date window is positioned at three. The unique character of this watch is visible on the caseback that carries a special engraving featuring a drawing submitted during the annual drawing competition hosted by IWC with the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.
Inside the case is the calibre 32111, an automatic, self-winding movement that provides a whopping 120 hours of power reserve. This special edition is limited to 759 watches only; this particular piece is numbered 720.
Purchased in 2023, this IWC Pilot's Watch Automatic Edition Laureus Sport for Good IW328101 promises excellent condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
