In the Epic X Chrono 43mm, Jacob & Co. offers a timepiece as dynamic and uncompromising as those who wear it.
Why we love it
This Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono 43mm stands as a bold testament to contemporary watchmaking, merging striking aesthetics with precision engineering. Part of the Epic X collection, this model is distinguished by its signature X-shaped lugs and refined bi-compax skeleton chronograph layout. Rendered in black titanium, it exudes a modern, sporty appeal while retaining the elegance and exclusivity that Jacob & Co. consistently deliver.
At the core of the Epic X Chrono lies the JCAA05 self-winding chronograph movement, visible through a smoked sapphire crystal dial and open caseback. This calibre exemplifies meticulous craftsmanship, with red chronograph hands and white SuperLuminova on the skeletonised hands ensuring optimal legibility in all lighting conditions. The black satin-finished anodised aluminium inner ring and ceramic black bezel add a bold, streamlined look to the timepiece.
Functionality is equally robust, with water resistance up to 200 metres, making it suitable for everyday wear as well as high-adrenaline pursuits. A ventilated, openworked rubber strap flows seamlessly into the case and lugs, secured by a black DLC titanium deployment buckle for added resilience. Each limited-edition piece is individually numbered, underscoring the brand’s commitment to exclusivity and personalisation.
This Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono EC400.21.AB.AC.ABRUA exhibits light scratches on its caseback. The strap remains in good condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
