This is an elaborate video of the actual Jacob & Co. on sale at Second Movement, shot by our photographers in our in-house video lab.
We do not use stock videos or images
A visually compelling and highly unconventional watch by Jacob & Co. driven by an in-house movement.
Why we love it
Since the beginning, Jacob & Co. has always aimed at broadening the horizon with its bold and unique timepieces. And it continues to innovate with this daring and groundbreaking Epic 1, which demands a second look thanks to its distinctive design and striking dimensions. Boy, this is a big watch! Its substantial rectangular case, measuring a whopping 51mm, settles with much flurry on the wrist, creating an unmissable presence. Aiding the size to make the watch more prominent is the black PVD coating on the steel body. The combination of black coating, the carbon-fibre dial, and the rubber strap creates a dominating all-black look.
In addition to the staggering size, Jacob & Co. creates a unique dial to incite excitement. It is a novelty through and through with the signature geometric subdials featuring 30-minute, 12-hour, and running seconds. The refreshing positioning of the date aperture between 12 and one fits the unconventional design language of the dial.
Inside we find an automatic calibre 2121, a finely finished chronograph movement with an Incabloc shock absorption system, 27 jewels, a rate of 28,800vph, and a power reserve of 48 hours. Visible through the exhibition caseback, the movement also features a skeletonised rotor with a cutout brand logo.
This limited edition Jacob & Co. Epic 1 is in mint condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
