This Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time with a World Time complication featured on an amazingly-designed dial will make you look stylish in any corner of the world.
Why we love it
The Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic defines the technologically-advanced, modern timepiece. It was originally created in 1958 to commemorate two momentous occasions – the Maison’s 125th anniversary and the first international Geophysical Year. Today, the ingenious Geophysic has developed a great following among watch aficionados who fancy avant-garde features dominating their timepiece.
This Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time is a delight for globetrotters, having been outfitted with a World Time complication. But before we are lured into the magic of the dial where so many wow elements wait to be adored, attention must be paid to Jaeger LeCoultre’s unparalleled craftsmanship manifested on the water-resistant case. Sized at 41.6 mm, the case is worked up in rose gold featuring polished and brushed surfaces, a smooth bezel, and a logo-stamped crown. With a notable size and desirable heft, the case gives this Ref. Q8102520 an opulent look.
The dial is a lesson in functionality and aesthetics. The centre, coated with gradient blue lacquer, provides an appealing background to the rose gold continents and is outlined by applied gold markers. Outside the centre panel are two chapter rings. In an outward direction, first lies a 24-hour time zone and then a World Time complication with names of cities printed in red and blue hues. We love how a throng of elements is arranged meticulously on the dial to not affect its legibility, which is further aided by luminous hands and dots under the bezel.
This exhibition case back of this Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time Q8102520 features the automatic calibre 772 equipped with Gyrolab Spring balance and provides a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.
This Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time Q8102520 is in excellent condition with no scratches. Please note that the brown leather straps show minor signs of use.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
