This Jaeger-LeCoultre is not just another fine dress watch but an aesthetically-elevated timepiece that presents interesting watch complications in a rather elegant expression.
Why we love it
Master Control indeed is a collection that brings an effortless union of understated style and compelling watch complications. Outfitted with functions spanning a simple date to much-coveted moonphase, Jaeger-LeCoultre has delivered many watchmaking wonders through this collection. One such marvel is this reference Q151842A.
It's an elegant piece with a 40.5mm stainless steel case and a highly-legible silver dial. The smooth, polished, fixed bezel adds to the understated trope. Jaeger-LeCoultre has kitted this reference with a complete calendar featuring the date on the outer rim, indicated via a slim red-tipped hand. The current month and the day of the week are displayed at three and nine o'clock, respectively. Also, a beautiful moonphase sub-dial call dibs at six. Another defining element of the watch is the power reserve indicator located at noon to demonstrate a 50-hour running autonomy. The house adds signature triangular indexes for a touch of style.
In addition to a whopping power reserve, the automatic calibre JLC 924 comes with 41 Jewels, 339 parts, and 28,800 bph frequency. And, of course, this subtle, refined timepiece boasts up to 50 metres of water resistance.
This Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Calendar comes in very good condition. Please note minor signs of use are visible on the leather strap.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
