Along with the unceasing charm, this Omega De Ville also brings an element of surprise. Discover the workings of the inner mechanism through unique crystal panels deployed on the sides of the case
Why we love it
One of the most elegant collections by Omega, De Ville is versatile both in form and function. It is advanced by Omega’s unparalleled prowess in the art of watchmaking, bringing about a surprisingly effortless union of refined design philosophy and adept craftsmanship. The introduction of the Hour Vision in 2007 brought a moment of flourish for the collection as the series proposed a seamless fusion of signature detail and a refreshing style.
With a strongly built stainless steel case in size 41mm offering water-resistance of 100 metres, a legible blue dial with an annual calendar featuring the current month and date, and the comfortable as well as handsome leather straps in a subtle blue hue, this Ref. 431.33.41.22.03.001 ticks all the boxes. But these are the features that one can conventionally find in an Omega timepiece; what is refreshing and awe-evoking is the sapphire crystal panels on the sides of the case. This novel element allows the wearer to look at the watch's mechanism from the case sides in addition to the see-through case back.
Powering this 431.33.41.22.03.001 is the OMEGA calibre 8601 that comes with automatic winding, 25200 BPH frequency, approximately 60 hours of power reserve, and the most important Co-Axial escapement. This Omega De Ville 431.33.41.22.03.001 is a retro-inspired timepiece with plenty of sophisticated appeal for everyday wear.
Despite some negligible scratches on the case and lugs, the case of this Omega De Ville 431.33.41.22.03.001 is in overall very good condition. The strap, however, shows signs of use.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
