Bringing the calmness of the sea waves onto your wrist, this Omega Seamaster features a magical alliance of aesthetics and functionality.
Why we love it
First launched in 1993, Seamaster Diver 300m is one of Omega's most popular and brilliant series. It strongly subverts the conventions of watchmaking with impressive functions and aesthetics, effortlessly balancing optimal comfort with keen design.
This Omega Seamaster Diver 300m 210.30.42.20.01.001 is the product of the brand's major update of the series that happened in 2018. Thanks to it, this model carries a Master Chronometer-certified, in-house produced movement - Omega calibre 8800. This beast of a movement has an automatic winding system in both directions, is equipped with co-axial escapement, beats at a frequency of 3.5 HZ, is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15000 gauss, and has a power reserve of 55 hours. The presence of a black ceramic bezel detailed with a contrasting diving scale and the conical shape of the helium escape valve further elevates this modern Seamaster Diver 300m.
However, along with updated details, this model 210.30.42.20.01.001 also carries some quintessential Seamaster signatures. The curvy profile of the lugs, the laser-engraved waves on the dial, and the lollipop seconds hand all nod to the primary design of the Seamaster 300m. The balanced construction lends a flair of modesty to the timepiece. The Maison's craftsmanship shines through the 300m water-resistant stainless steel case, rubber strap, sapphire crystal glass, and the exhibition caseback.
Please note this Omega watch for men shows noticeable scratches on the sapphire crystal glass and caseback. The bracelet and clasp also show some visible nicks.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
