It’s no secret that this limited edition Commander’s Watch is as brilliant as Bond himself, with killer aesthetics and a charming wrist presence.
Why we love it
No pop-culture collaboration within the watch industry has been as loved and long-standing as that of Omega and James Bond. So, in 2017, when the franchise was celebrating the anniversary of three of its iconic movies, Omega's partaking was only natural. It led to the introduction of a remarkable timepiece, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Commander’s Watch. It is a masterfully-designed piece that nods to Bond being a Commander in the Royal Navy. Interestingly, in all three movies that were marking their anniversary — You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Tomorrow Never Dies — Bond’s character is seen in a navy uniform.
Instantly, you see the colours of the Royal Navy’s insignia used brilliantly to decorate this timepiece. Red, white, and blue hues find pride of place on the unidirectional rotating bezel and the dial. What also impresses is the appearance of the 007 logo as the seconds hand counterweight, on the folding clasp, and on the rotor. The rotor, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, is a feature in its own right. It’s designed in a familiar Bond aesthetic, demonstrating the logo, the brand signature, and the calibre.
Commemorative elements aside, this reference 212.32.41.20.04.001 is a classic Diver 300M featuring a stainless steel 41mm case, a luminous white dial with a date window, and the wave pattern on the caseback. In lieu of the usual calibre 2500, this Commander’s Watch is driven by the calibre 2507. Most limited edition Omega Seamaster 007 watches are powered by this exclusive movement, which stands out particularly in its decoration. It offers a power reserve of 48 hours.
Limited to 7,007 watches only, this Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Commander’s Watch 212.32.41.20.04.001 shows excellent pre-owned condition.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
