With sophisticated aesthetics and functional nuances, this Seamaster Aqua Terra is a stunning watch that'll be as much at home on a boat as in a boardroom.
Why we love it
Bringing elements of refinement and elegance, Aqua Terra forged the way for dressy styles within the Seamaster family while retaining a sporty undertone. This Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 231.10.39.22.03.001 taps into the brand's innovative spirit with a refreshing annual calendar function, providing possibly one of the best manifestations of form and function.
It sports a clean look with a stainless steel case measuring 38.5mm in diameter. A discerning combination of brushed and polished finishes helps elevate the overall appeal. In a bid to abide by the collection's intent - the screw-in crown ensures a water resistance of 150 metres.
The watch comes with a blue dial adorned with the signature Teak Concept pattern, including luminous hour markers and hands. It strikes an impressive balance with conjoined date and month apertures at three o'clock. The movement, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, is the self-winding calibre 8601 with a Co-Axial escapement, a silicon balance spring, and two barrels in series to grant a power reserve of 55 hours.
This pre-owned Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra carries visible scratches on the caseback, bracelet, and clasp. Yet, the overall condition of the watch is fairly good.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
