The past converges into the present with this Seamster 300 The 1957 Trilogy edition that celebrates 60 years of Omega’s three most iconic timepieces.
Why we love it
The original Seamster 300 reference CK2913, released as a trilogy alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster, introduced the world to one of the most historic dive watches ever. Thanks to this faithful revival — reference 234.10.39.20.01.001 — Omega brings an icon for the new generation of watch enthusiasts to enjoy.
In 2017, Omega celebrated the 60th anniversary of the 1957 trilogy by releasing limited editions of the three watches. This Seamaster 300 boldly recreates the original version through nuances, such as the broad arrow handset, vintage hour indexes, the Naïad sign on the crown that marked a watch’s exceptional water resistance, and the 1957 Seahorse engraving on the caseback. The case of the watch is impressive, boasting strong steel construction and brushed and polished finishes coming together in perfect harmony. All the watches in the trilogy carried a tropical black dial accompanied by a bidirectional bezel.
Omega further nods to the vintage Seamaster design through the discreet brand logo at the centre of the sapphire crystal. The automatic calibre 8806 drives this watch and promises a power reserve of 55 hours.
This Omega Seamaster 300 The 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary Limited Edition 234.10.39.20.01.001 promises excellent condition sans any scratches or signs of use.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
