Disproving the notion that tool watches need to be complicated, Omega presents Speedmaster in an elegant form with this Two Counters.
Why we love it
Speedmaster has long served as a platform for new and innovative designs that range from classics like the Dark Side of the Moon to contemporary iterations, such as the Instrument versions. This Speedmaster Two Counters celebrates this legendary collection with subtle details and familiar Co-Axial calibre. Our verdict? Omega nails it, giving a precision tool watch with unrestrained elegance.
In titanium measuring 44.25mm, the round case charms with meticulous symmetry executed through the chamfered lugs, the knurled crown, and neatly parked pushers. The tachymeter bezel complements the dial with a shade of blue and contrasting white markings. The bi-compax chronograph configuration on the dial establishes legibility and function, much like the luminous hour indexes and hands. The attention to detail, conspicuous on the sub-dials, brand signature, and date aperture, is impeccable.
Under the hood, we find the Co-Axial calibre 9300, the first chronograph Co-Axial movement produced by Omega. It beats at a frequency of 28,800bph, providing 60 hours of power reserve with two barrels in series.
This Omega Speedmaster Two Counters 311.93.44.51.03.001 arrives in fair pre-owned condition. Please note the leather strap is slightly soiled.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
