Speedmaster goes back to its roots with this Racing model, introduced in 2017 in celebration of this iconic collection's 60th anniversary.
Why we love it
The Speedmaster Racing, released in 2017, sought to bring back the racing look to the Speedmaster line, which we often forget was the original intent behind its design. It is bold, practical and characterful on the face. Its notable 44mm stainless steel case instantly catches attention and plays with light thanks to the contrasting finishes. The bezel is one of the highlighting features of this Omega watch as it's furnished with a black ceramic ring that carries bright orange tachymeter text and signature Liquidmetal numbers.
Mirroring the aesthetics of the case is the matte grey dial which confidently plays with colours, complications, and characteristic details. Coherently placed, its bi-compax sub-registers, bright luminous hands, and index markers deliver boldness and legibility in equal amounts. The six o'clock date window and signature script further elevate functionality and aesthetics.
Protected inside the sapphire crystal caseback is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9900. This robust automatic movement consists of a silicon balance spring and two barrels that ensure an impressive 60-hour power autonomy.
Purchased in 2023, this Omega Speedmaster Racing 329.32.44.51.06.001 comes with a well-kept case. However, the leather strap shows some signs of use.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
