Omega Speedmaster '57 revives the spirit of 1957 with its sleek design, rich blue dial, and the unmatched accuracy of the Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement.
Why we love it
This Omega Speedmaster '57, first introduced in 2013, has quickly earned its place as one of the most iconic models in the legendary Speedmaster collection. Inspired by the original 1957 reference, it incorporates key elements like the distinctive "Broad Arrow" hands and a tachymeter scale. The 40.5mm stainless steel case is a nod to the classic proportions of earlier models, but it is slimmer and more refined, making it a versatile option. The case offers a sleek, elegant profile that maintains a sporty edge, suited for both formal and casual occasions. A unique feature of the Speedmaster '57 is the use of Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9906. This movement is a masterpiece in itself, boasting exceptional precision and reliability. It is chronometer-certified, guaranteeing that the watch meets the highest standards of accuracy.
A striking feature of this Omega Speedmaster '57 the deep blue hue is rich and sophisticated, offering a captivating contrast to the stainless steel case. The dial is not only visually compelling but also incredibly functional. The small seconds sub-dial, positioned at the nine o’clock mark, is a refined touch that maintains the clean and balanced design of the watch while adding practical utility. At three o’clock, the combined 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph sub-dial provides the wearer with precise timing capabilities.
Meanwhile, the date window at six o’clock is subtly integrated into the design, offering practicality without detracting from the overall aesthetics of the dial. The dial is framed by a brushed bezel with a blackened tachymeter scale which is deeply embedded in the Speedmaster's identity, reinforcing its reputation as a tool watch with unmatched accuracy. The caseback is equally impressive, featuring the engraving of “Speedmaster ‘57,” a nod to its rich history. Finally, the watch is securely fastened with a polished and brushed bracelet, equipped with Omega’s patented comfort release adjustment system, allowing for a perfectly personalised fit, ensuring both luxury and practicality come together harmoniously.
This Omega Speedmaster '57 332.10.41.51.03.001 has light scratches on the case and caseback. There are scuffs visible on the bracelet of the watch as well.
Provenance
At Second Movement, the pre-owned division of Ethos Watches, we adhere to a rigorous verification process where expert watchmakers carefully inspect every watch to certify its authenticity, ensuring it is not counterfeit. We also go to the maximum extent possible to ensure that the timepiece is not a stolen property and that all duties are paid. However, in the absence of any central database, a 100% verification is unlikely for any pre-owned entity in India. Nevertheless, we can still provide a provenance guarantee for watches purchased from Ethos.
Please note all our transactions with sellers are conducted via registered banking channels, accompanied by a signed affidavit, banking proof, and PAN card.
A specific affidavit stating the watch is not a stolen property and that all applicable duties have been paid is also obtained from the seller and is available for buyers in case of legal requirements.
We strive to build trust through transparency and diligence, outlining our verification process and the inherent limitations. Our commitment to integrity shapes every transaction, prioritising your confidence while acknowledging the realities of the pre-owned watch market.
