Oris forayed into movement production in 2014 with calibre 110. A hand-wound movement with a 10-day power reserve, 110 became the base for all the future movements developed by Oris, including calibre 114. 114 is the fifth in-house movement by Oris, introduced at Baselworld 2018 with the debut of a GMT version of the Big Crown ProPilot.

A fairly understated timepiece, this Big Crown ProPilot Calibre 114 is all about the genius movement that beats within. In addition to being hand-wound with a 10-day power reserve like the previous four movements, calibre 114 also boasts a GMT complication and that too with half-hour time zones. Hence, one can account for timezones in countries like Australia and India as well with this Oris watch. The GMT function marked quite legibly on the dial and indicated through a red arrow-tipped hand operates on a caller GMT format. Further, this calibre is integrated with a non-linear power reserve indicator, which means that the movement of the power reserve indicator hand is not consistent. It'll move faster when the watch is fully wound and slower when the energy is close to cessation. The dial likewise evidences this as the gap between the days on the indicator scale dwindles gradually from one to 10.
